The second compiled book volume of Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto's Boruto manga revealed on Friday the premiere date for the rest of the arcs of the Naruto Shippūden anime that will adapt three epilogue novels in the Naruto franchise.

The first part, which adapts Shin Towasa's Naruto: Sasuke's Story - Sunrise, already premiered with episode 484 on Thursday, and will continue into December. The second part, which will adapt Takashi Yano's Naruto: Shikamaru's Story novel, will premiere in January. The anime previously aired an anime-original "Boyhood" arc that focused on the pasts of two characters in each episode. The arc ran for four episodes from 480-483, from October 20 to November 10. The anime did not air on November 17 and November 24 due to special programming.
