This year's 24th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump is announcing on Thursday that Toshio Sako's Usogui manga has a live-action film project in the works.
The story follows a brilliant gambler named Baku "Usogui" Madarame as he lays down his life as the wager for various games.
The manga is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Weekly Young Jump is also publishing commemorative artwork from manga artists Hirohiko Araki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) and Yasuhisa Hara (Kingdom).
Shueisha will publish the 42nd compiled volume on May 19. The series also inspired an original video animation (OVA) bundled with the manga's 26th volume in 2012.
