It's very sad to see that after the huge number the first JoJo game did, this one failed so damn hard despite giving up on being a competitive fighting game and focusing on being accesible and fun. I guess it either got a bad reception or people did NOT want to get burned a second time.

Also I guess the hype was not there anymore, which makes sense since the blu-ray sales have been slowly declining even after reaching the supposedly most famous part (SCrusaders).

This worries me a little bit since Part 4 is my favorite and I want a good adaptation.

I'm not so sure that part of it is any different - they got some flak pre-release for choosing to make the game 30 fps to amp up the graphics and calling it "not a fighting game", so it doesn't seem they cared that much about making it competitive.

I am wondering if they're paying the price here for the micro-transaction madness in that game: the campaign with an energy bar you had to wait for and could pay to refill. It's easy to forget since it's something that was toned down heavily by the time of the US release, but I remember all the freaking out about it at the time.

MonHun couldn't strike #1 this week. Best Fallout opening ever! The power of YW, Splatoon, and SMM are strong with the holidays. JoJo's bomba adventure. For reasons though. Great number for consoles, specifically, home consoles.

Splatoon gonna reach a million.
Minecraft gonna reach half a million.

Fallout should really be played on the PC (or at least the XB1) since that supports the mods, but Japan doesn't really have a PC game industry.

Happy Festivus, everyone!
