Correction: DH published Oldboy. Now it's in semi-Kindle Hell on Amazon.

Wasn't there already a American remake of old boy from what i can remember it was not good its was basically a water down and shot-for-shot movie of the original Korean movie.

That would have to be the Spike Lee film since it was never adapted here before then or after.
