Nice! I remember seeing a leak last year about this getting an anime supposedly being adapted by Cloverworks so I guess we’ll find out next month if it really is Aniplex working on this.

That's unfortunate, they really could have made this one pop

Oh didn’t know that thanks for the info and I agree Cloverworks could have done really good with this one.

I feel like this has been leaked/announced for a while now, but glad it's finally official. Also Shoya Chiba and Reina Ueda are great casting.

I'm curious how far they'll adapt to.

Nothing has been confirmed yet. We'll probably see more info during Jump Festa.

Honestly I'm not really a fan of how the manga has been recently, but I should still enjoy the first season or two of the anime. The drawings of Chinatsu and Taiki look really good too

I am glad, I've following this since it started. I think it's quite a feat having a success with a romance series in WSJ, and one by a female mangaka, with none to zero fanservice, and whose characters act in a more or less reasonable way (no childhood promises, convenient amnesia, harem hijinks…)
spoiler[Even the love triangle is solved quite fine -some shippers would disagree-]

So this is the news that made me make an account on here after been reading for years.

Blue Box is my current favourite ongoing WSJ series, and i have been followed since chapter 1 came out, so this is a very first for me, where i have been at the series since day one. Not that it is the first Manga i have read that did not had a anime announced, but the first one i had read since day one. So yeah i am looking very much forward to it

Yes, it seems that TMS will do this adaptation.
