Saitama is way too strong to be Cap. Heck he's too strong to be Thor. Maybe Hulk. But his apathetic personality doesn't really fit.
To bad Gamma didn't get an anime, it actually had a variant/spoof Avengers team. Though only Hornetman and Night Driver got any amount of focus. |

All Might is Captain America. Cap's biggest strength is his charisma, and All Might has it in spades while Saitama has it in the negatives

An anime avengers team with no MHA characters??? Deku or All Might are much better as Captain America then Saitama could ever be. I find the list a bit weak. I think Akira fudo/Devilman sounds like a much better Hulk then Guts too imo.

Quite aside from the other excellent arguments, seriously? You're going with Priss? She isn't even the de-facto leader of the Knight Sabers! Sylia is FAR Moore like Tony in every possible way, except where that's Nene (sheer computer savvy)!
The only thing I can think of is that, despite the image and your stating it as original BGC, you're thinking of the terrible BGC 2040. |

I put it in the survey. I know very well that DrakeNieR is one canon, but the two series vary wildly enough in gameplay (and quality) that I think it's fair for this poll that they can be treated separately. |

Thor huh? Uryuu, ninth, at the end of Future Diary. She's named after the Roman gods Minerva and Neptune and she lost her "eye for knowledge" like a certain elder Norse god did. She can spoiler[fly, has immense strength and she has "half the failing infinite power" of a god. No lightning though she can produce it, I think?] Ah, no hammer. Still, there's a lot here. Captain America? Tiger from Tiger and Bunny. He can do this all day too, you know... Oh right, he can't. But e still like the good Captain nevertheless. Iron Man... Alphonse. Alchemy is science in the world of FMA. Then there's the guy Alphas from Zetman but he's a rip off of Iron man so.... Scarlet Witch. Lina Inverse the Red. Doctor Strange. Negi Springfield? Maybe? |

This list is -to put it in much less harmful word- not smart. Lol Saitama and Capt, seriously. They're not alike both physically, mentally. Their power is different.

interesting list.
personally id say all might or legend(in his prime) from tiger and bunny would make a better stand-in for cap Guts is a great choice don't know much Black Widow types in anime so i can't think of anyone else. for Iron Man i'd turn to a much older lesser known anime, blassreiter where the characters literally transform their flesh and blood into iron. The main character Joseph would be my choice For thor while I've not seen sailor moon I strongly feel theres not much characters in anime that could substitute the role of 'God of Thunder' except for an emperor, a 'Lightning Emperor'. Meet Ginji Amano aka Raitei. Also for moe appeal lets throw biri-biri(to aru majutsu no index) in there cause this list is sorely missing moe characters. A stand in for strange is difficult because nothing immediately comes to mind. But then i remembered Re:Creators and Meteora was a perfect fit. Finally for spiderman thats a really niche role since there arent much characters who channel the powers of spiders, the only other person i know is that spider dude from naruto part 1 |

I can just picture the scene where Cap is trying to hold back Thanos' hand, and replacing him with Saitama, lol. Oh man, Thanos woulda got knocked out.

Seconded for truth. 
The Spiderman choice was a bit, er.....weak: Peter Parker's chief "power" is that he's an overambitious teenager trying to live up to his ideals on his own devices, despite having a few limited powers, some homemade gadgets, and no armor, invulnerability or flight, and technically isn't even allowed to be a member of the team yet. And since I don't watch MHA, and can't remember any of the Assassination Classroom students, that leaves the field open for pretty much your pick of teen protagonists. (Sailor Jupiter IS Thor, however, since she enjoys a good fight more than the rest of the team, but Mars is too temperamental for her Flame Sniper to be the laid-back Hawkeye equivalent...Wait, he did show up in Infinity War, didn't he? And besides, Jigen uses guns, so that doesn't count.) |
