I would hope there is real progress made in the film and maybe subsequent film or TV show to finish it off. I was dissatisfied in the two seasons because the plot took a detour into making a different than intended game and literally circled around on itself.

The only that thing that progressed was character development but the plot mostly ended right where its original premise originally began. I basically thought that I was never going to get any more progress because it yet another show to advertise the original work.

Well, unless the spoilers I read are wrong, (read only if you want to know who wins) spoiler[the only way that is happening is if they go for an anime original ending. Megumi wins. Utaha was my number 1 pick, but Megumi was always my 2nd pick. And, during that last season, she got close to over taking Utaha in my eyes.] So, I really do hope we get to see the ending animated.

I hope that the LNs end up getting licensed, as I'm not sure on the chances of this getting a season to finish off the story. I know the manga is licensed, but I don't know if that is going to adapt the whole LN series. If I find out that it will/does, then I'll pick that up.

Aniplex of America streamed the second series under the title Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Flat on Amazon's Anime Strike channel.

No, it was on Amazon, as they have a contract deal for all Noitamina shows.

Ugh God really? This is what I hate about harem in Japan. They have all these interesting and unique characters, and the author always somehow picks the generic plain girl. I mean look I get the author is Japanese so his tastes are going to swing to what would be a typical Japanese girl, but then why bother adding all those unique characters?

There is pretty much one thing you can count on , if someone is a mix/foreigner, has hair that is not some shade of black, or has a unique personality, they have no chance.
