Seconded. "Could not locate remote server." I'm on mobile now though, dunno if the pc has similar issue.

The URL's been fixed, it should work now. Thanks for pointing it out!

I don't like their articles. Most of them on ANN have click-bait titles and they are boring.

Same, plus the way the Anime Now article, um banner...thing that signifies what kind of article it is makes them look like ads to me. Confused

I'm not surprised by this. That would be its purpose as an advocacy site. Wink

With all due respect, I'm not impressed with the site. Though I do like how it provides the guide to what Anime is in progress and what's to come.

An "anime advocacy" website is precisely what I do not wish to read and largely avoid. I know there are factions of people to whom it might appeal but certainly not to me, so no thanks.

I've been to the Now! site last month. One article helped me on how to watch a certain series.

ANN hasn't been doing their mission then. Can I talk to your manager? lol

Mmmm. I have to agree that it appears as a fair bit of redundancy. Why just a banner link to ANN couldn't get the same result is beyond me, but I'm sure being just a woodsman here I'm not seeing the whole forest. Wink

Even their explanation and mission statement is coaxed in enough pr speech that it barely looks written by a human being.

If this is what the site needs to do to generate revenue then fair enough, but the click-bait headlines and forced attempts to be overly casual while clearly trying to promote product quickly lead me to stop reading them. You can easily discern whether someone is writing from a place of genuine interest and passion or whether they're quoting from a manual.

Maybe you and I, but what about others?

Yeah I've only been interested in one of the articles but not even enough to read the whole thing. They just seem like ads. As with the other advertorials, I don't mind their presence on the site as long as they are clearly marked.

Never actually clicked one cause I though they were just a form of native advertisement, seems I was sorta right.
